Plant Reference

This page is a reference for the latin names of plants discussed in the blog. Most nurseries list plants by their common names. However, if you want to order from some of the specialty nurseries plants are often listed by the latin name and if the plant is native to the Pacific Northwest. Excellent journal Julie. Fortunately for us, we
live in San Diego and have lots of hummingbirds
drinking from our flowering plants. And crows
    digging the the neighbors garbage.
We have 2 bird nests about our house every year so we
are going to follow your advice and put out lightly
    toasted egg shells.
